Paying high commissions with franchise names to sell your home is not the way to go. Long contracts to sell your home is absolutely wrong in a hot Real Estate Market right now.

Lastly, pricing the home correctly from the beginning is key.

Many out of the area Realtors throw high prices at the homeowner just to get the written exclusive listing. In addition if the owner throws a high number to an out of area Realtor, they just agree to get you to sign up with them.

With 37 years of experience, and over 3,000 written appraisals to date, the right asking price and a short period of time is all that is needed.

Most homes that I have sold in the past 4 years are without signs on the property. Too many signs in the area, make buyers think people can not sell and get what they want.

I only show by appointment and with pre-qualified clients.

Prices have sure gone up these past 4 years so what I do since the houses are at higher levels today, I work with owners at 3% commissions.

I also explain to owners their closing costs they will incur as well.

Many other agents do not explain anything. And if your home is over a million dollars you will pay a 1% Mansion Tax which many agents never explain to owners.
